On September 24-25, the European cooperation day is held online. The management of the South-East Finland – Russia CBC Programme, project partners and other interested participants discuss the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on project implementation, exchange experience, share their achievements and best practices.
As part of the first day's event, Green InterTraffic project manager, vice-president of the SPbCCI Ludmila Karelina presented the project and told about the results achieved. Project manager has focused to such developments as the General Russian-Finnish Road Weather Monitoring System, the Common Model to improve the road safety and ecofriendly traffic with GIS-tools and the Educational Complex that will be started on next month.
Since 2012, EU member countries and their partner countries have been celebrating European Cooperation Day in September. It has become a good tradition to carry out thematic events to praise achievements and possibilities of cross-border and interregional cooperation. This year is a special one – the Interreg community celebrates 30 years of Interreg and cooperation encouraging regions and countries to tackle challenges they can solve only by working together.
