PARTNERS OF THE GREEN INTERTRAFFIC PROJECT WILL CARRY OUT WORK ON ENVIRONMENTAL RISK ASSESSMENT

The Project Management group online meeting of the Green InterTraffic project was held on May 18. In the focus of discussion, it was the continuing of work on the Common Model to improve the road safety and eco-friendly traffic with GIS-tools in co-operation with Finland and Russia.

Much attention was paid to the environmental risk assessment, which is the part of the Common Model. The project is developing scenarios for the development of road traffic until 2035. The meeting participants agreed that the air quality forecasts included in the scenarios will become an important part of the environmental risk assessment.

The project partners will discuss the results of their work on the Common Model at the next online meeting scheduled for May 25.
