Within the framework of the project, the Report on the Health Risk Assessment of Human Exposure to Ambient Air Chemical Emissions from Scandinavia Highway Traffic has been prepared

The partners of the Green InterTraffic project have prepared the Report on the Health Risk Assessment of Human Exposure to Ambient Air Chemical Emissions from Scandinavia Highway Traffic.

The main purpose of the research was to assess the impact of air pollution on human health and to justify possible solutions to reduce risk levels. The calculations were based on the results of data collected by AQT sensors from October 2019 to August 2020 in Russia and Finland.

The risk assessment was carried out for the territory located in the immediate vicinity of the E18 "Scandinavia" highway, with the assumption of a permanent presence of the population near the highway, with the inhalation route of chemical substances (through the respiratory system).
